The Trego VT is a Vacuum Tester that allows you to check valve to seat seal right on the bench, or in the engine compartment.
No special set-up is required. The unit is equipped with an electric vacuum pump and generates up to 850 Mbar (12,3 Psi) of vacuum.
A built-in pressure difference control allows you to control vacuum setting accurately when testing other vacuum components. This unit is lightweight and portable, allowing you to take it right to the assembled engine to diagnose problems before you start disassembly. After the valve and valve seat work you can make sure the seal is up to your expectations. The Trego VT can also be used to test other vacuum controlled components.
The Trego VT has both a quick-coupling for changing adapters and a very appreciated quick-valve right next to the adaptor. This quick valve makes it possible to test and move the adaptor without changing the settings on the Trego VT or turning it off. The Trego VT comes in two versions, VT 230 for 220 – 240 volts and VT 115 for 115 volts. Both versions come as a complete kit that includes the vacuum tester, vacuum tube complete with a quick-coupling and quick valve, plus 5 round adapters in sizes: Ø30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 mm. Rectangular adaptors are available as options.
