In a collaboration between Trego and Scania, a new method of repair has been developed. Trego Milling Tool for Upper Cylinder Liner Guide 52-830, Scania PN 2300382, comes to grip with the corrosion damage to the upper cylinder liner guide. The new method of repair should be used in cases where oversized cylinder liners are not sufficient to ensure sealing of coolant between the cylinder liner and cylinder block. The new method of repair can also be used in cases of cracks to the cylinder block by the upper cylinder liner guide.
The Trego Milling Tool for Upper Cylinder Liner Guide is a tool for Scania engines with standing sleeves. It comes ready to use in two boxes that contain the following products:
