SHOT PEENING is the latest technique for the treatment and finishing of metal surfaces. The method consists of blasting the surface with millions of microscopic glass beads in a jet of compressed air. The uniform mix of AIR + GLASS MICROBALLS plus selective recycling by CYCLONE ensure a perfect micropeening of the parts in question. Scaling, oxidation and all forms of fouling are rapidly removed, even on the most complicated and inaccessible areas. The shot peening technique is extremely simple and effective. The finished items are technically clean and smooth, free of abrasive particles and with no alteration of their mechanical or dimensional characteristics. The machines use exclusively glass or synthetic beads with no release of silica, thus eliminating the danger of respiratory diseases and avoiding the risks and drawbacks of chemical pickling.
